My family and friends offer support in terms of their words and actions. My biggest support is my husband who listens to my rants and loves me unconditionally. I love that I have his support in whatever I do. He keeps me calm when things and life become too crazy. My friends are such amazing supports as well offering encouragement and words of advice. My friends have a way of making me laugh and relax. I love how they are accepting of me for who I am! My emotional well-being depends on the support of my family and friends.
Practical supports include my computer. It seems I am always on the computer these days! When my computer had a virus and had to be re-imaged, I was LOST! This is when I noticed that I use my computer more than I thought. Of course, I do love to make notes so if I did not have the computer I could easily adapt to writing things out. Other practical supports include the grocery list and menu. We live by the grocery list and the menu for the week. If I am late coming home then everyone knows what to make for supper! The best part about creating the grocery list is that my husband does the grocery shopping! Recently, I bought a new car. I absolutely love my car. I have named her ‘Ali.’ I love the freedom and independence of having a car! My last practical support is MUSIC! Listening to music, creating music is relaxing as it helps me deal with stress. I find music soothing. Best of all music makes me happy.
